Steven A. Casazza is a Senior Trade Advisor for Torres Law, PLLC based in Washington D.C. Mr. Casazza is highly experienced in developing defense trade export strategies in the areas of policy, releasability, export controls, and international program execution in the U.S. and abroad.

Mr. Casazza previously served as Senior Manager of Technology release for General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., where he led defense trade program planning, technology security and foreign disclosure solution development, exportability design strategy, regulatory policy advocacy and export license & FMS case facilitation.  Before joining GA-ASI in 2016, he served as Manager of Licensing & Trade Policy at Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC). In this position, he was responsible for enterprise technology security & foreign disclosure planning and export license strategy. Prior to his work at SNC, he was an Export Policy Analyst in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports & Cooperation (DASA DE&C). In this capacity, he supported the US Army in Export Control Reform, technology transfer policy development, export license reviews and FMS case approvals.
